Work Parties

• The usual removal of yew berry seeds from the gutters.
• Remove, clean and reset wood blocks within the church.
• Repointed flashing to gutters
• Cleared blocked drains and rainwater down-pipes
• Major work on St John's Hall & Annex - including repairs due to vandalism

One major benefit of te work party was that we discovered that the lead had been removed from the south porch before w ehad too much rain!

The time that has been given this year has saved All Saints maintenance fund a lot of money. I am asking that you give a few of your precious hours for All Saints. Not only does it help the church but it also becomes quite a social event, particularly if l remember to take along the tea and biscuits!

We usually meet once a month on a Saturday from about 9 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. but I am quite prepared to arrange other time periods if these hours are inconvenient.

You do not need special skills for any of this work and as long as you can stand up, we can usually find a job to suit everybody. Dates and times are always noted on the boards in the back of the church and in the Vestry so keep an eye open and , at the same time, please contact me that I can include you on the list of helpers and notify you personally of the time.
