Children and worship
On the first Sunday of each month there is a special 'All the Family' service for aged 0-90+ which usually lasts about 40 mins and is
followed by activities for children of various ages whilst the rest of us chat over (real) coffee or tea.
The third Sunday of the month has a Family Eucharist which uses a short interactive child-friendly form of words for those who wish to go a little deeper into their faith. We do admit children to communion after careful preparation.
A successful, arts and crafts activity based gathering for all the family, followed by tea and a short act of worship in St Johnís Hall at
4.00pm on the third Sunday of every month.
We hold an Eco Walk after the All the Family Service in each of the four seasons - January (Winter), April (Spring), July (Summer), and October (Autumn).
Families are invited to join us for a short walk through our six acre churchyard. The aim will be to look closely at our environment, discovering the plants and trees, looking for insects and other creatures, watching for birds and focusing on how everything in nature is interconnected and needs to be safeguarded.
All Saintsí Church has an excellent choir dedicated to performing music in the weekly worship of God. Many of our choristers have gone on to
become accomplished, professional musicians. As well as payment for their singing, school-age choristers are eligible for grants from our Music Development Fund.
