Funerals

A funeral is used to mark the end of a person's life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God's keeping.

This can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion in a packed church. There is plenty of car parking space available, good wheelchair access and a loop hearing system at All Saints'.

Everyone who dies in the parish or is on the electoral roll of the Church or has a connection with All Saints' can have a funeral at All Saints' Church. Undertakers will often make the arrangements for the family. A member of our ministry team will meet with the family to make sure that the funeral service is very special and personal. To find out more please ring us on 01992 587544.

We have a memorial garden for the burial of ashes but burials take place at North Road Cemetery, a beautiful well cared for cemetery, as our Churchyard is now full. We have a memorial book in Church to remember those who have died please contact Martin Penny, our Parish Administrator on 01462 677865 for more details.
